Most likely you’ve heard of Vallarta Pride, an event that celebrates Gay Pride in Puerto Vallarta, and has become a reference towards celebrating LGBT culture.
Did you know that part of the reasons why Puerto Vallarta is known as “The Friendliest City in the World” is because it embraces every visitor as one?
Yes: this city makes everyone feel at home due to the warmth and friendliness of its people, and to its inclusive atmosphere. Equality has been the banner of Puerto Vallarta since the end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties, when travellers from around the globe were looking for a free and safe place to vacation, and choose this town as their personal oasis.
Eight years ago, the first event looking to inspire, mark, and celebrate the LGBT community took place, and over the years it has become one of the best events to honor Gay Pride in Mexico, known as a world stage for celebration.
The agenda is filled with party, music, art and culture, concerts, entertainment, cinema, and fun that you can enjoy from May 24th to 31st.
And what a great list of guests! This year will feature Blanca del Rio, Crystal Waters, Effie Passero, Cecille, Tony Moran, Ben Bakson, Enrico Meloni, Isis Muretech, Brian Kent, Oscar Velázquez, Alberto Sago, Alex Acosta, Jesús Montañez, Liza Rodriguez, Erik Vilar and many more! Check out the official site.
To inspire your trip, we share a taste of how this celebration is lived. Take a look at this video from 2019, prior to the current health situation. Although this year special measures will be followed in order to take care of all our visitors, the party and the spirit of celebration will be present as always. Enjoy it!
You will not want to miss out on this amazing event. See you in Puerto Vallarta!
