One of the best panoramic views in town is waiting for you in this lookout. You can easily spot it from the Malecon, and if you walk towards the hill along Abasolo Street it’s only 8 minutes away. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because some streets have steep slopes.

Located on the street under the same name, this lighthouse appears on many of the pictures of Puerto Vallarta that roam around the world. From here, you can admire the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe and its shining crown, as well as the red-tile roofs that give the town its charm.

This spot is not only an iconic site in Puerto Vallarta since it’s a paradise for all scuba diving lovers, these august rock formations that emerge from the Pacific can be appreciated from the Puerto Vallarta-Manzanillo highway, very close to the village of Mismaloya. If you’re driving, it’ll take you around 20 minutes to get here.

Inaugurated in 2013, this pier is a popular reference in Puerto Vallarta, with its sail-like structure hoisting in the wind. If you stroll by the pier at night, you’ll get a more than amazing snapshot since it is lit with many colors when the sun goes down, giving a unique show.

The ultimate expression of street art in Puerto Vallarta can be found along its cobbled streets downtown. Make sure to take lots of pics on the murals of artist Misael Lopez.
If you’re into adventures aboard an ATV, the tour that takes you to visit the world’s longest suspension bridge will offer unparalleled shots from the 1540 feet long bridge with a 360° view of the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Cuale River, which runs under it at 490 feet. It’s just a not-to-missed feed for your Instagram.

Visitors and locals admired the sculpture made by Rafael Zamarripa since 1960 at Las Pilitas, located in Los Muertos Beach, when a storm swept it away from its base. The artist was commissioned a second sculpture, and was placed in the Malecon of Puerto Vallarta in 1976. Luckily for the town’s artistic heritage, the first sculpture was found and placed again in its original site, at the feet of the Pacific.

On the coastal highway towards Barra de Navidad at km 2.5, leaving from Puerto Vallarta you’ll find Conchas Chinas Beach, one of the most exclusive residential zones in town. In its public beach the view is framed by whimsical rock formations and cliffs, where you’ll surely find the ideal perspective to take the best pics of the place.
